I'm 16 and i've been wearing contacts for about 2 years now..i realize that under my eyes are wrinkles forming..some already there. its so gross. what can i do?
I need to wear contacts because i'm very insecure with glasses
Answer: it sounds like you're a tiny insecure with contacts as well. It's unlikely you’ve gross wrinkles at your age…but the skin under your eyes is delicate so it's not a bad idea to use an eye cream with an spf of 15 in it. Nothing special, just something from the drug store should do the trick for now. Sunglasses help as well. Your ring finger is the weakest finger and it's the best one to use when applying anything around the eye so you don't stretch the skin as much.
Answer: First off, be very gentle around your eye area! Wrinkles happen because of the lack of collagen which makes the skin elastic. Do you rub your eyes? If you do, you need to halt. Use a face moisturizer daily with an SPF of at least 15. Use a vitamin rich cream at night as well. I like products from The Body Shop.
Edited to add: Use your pinky finger to apply moisturizer to your eye area. And pat gently.
Answer: you should ask your optometrist if your contacts are the true cause of it… or you could just go to a dermatologist he/she would be able to tell you if the contacts are causing it and what to do about
