Does wearing wrinkle cream at a young age prevent wrinkles in the future?

Im 18 and I once heard that if you begin wearing wrinkle cream/under eye cream at this age, it will prevent them from forming in the future. sounds enjoy it would make sense but I would like a bit of reassurance please!
