i've (accidentally) done it many times..
i've slept in my face makeup- foundation, powder, etc.
Answer: Sleeping in your makeup does not directly speed up wrinkles or aging, no, but it's very bad for your skin. It clogs your pores and gives all the chemicals ample time to seep into your skin– that part, the chemicals part, is what will lead to early signs of aging skin. Sleep is when your body does a lot of hard work to maintain itself, so giving your face some space to breathe after lots of makeup is a much superior idea than going to sleep in it and letting it rub all over your pillow and give you raccoon eyes the next morning!
An simple solution is to keep a package of makeup wipes (Almay makes good oil-free ones) by your bed and just wipe everything off with the cloth before you go to sleep.
