My mother is Filipino and she looks very young, as my grandmother does. People mistake my mom for my sister and my grandmother for my mother. My mother told me that in the Philippines, as soon as the sun rises, people take their kids and babies out in the sun for a few hours everyday. I thought sun exposure causes early aging. My mother and grandmother look young, and hardly have any wrinkles.

So what does this mean?
